The College of Arts and Sciences International Office (College International) aims to offer a global perspective to College students during their academic experience on campus and effectively prepare them for citizenship and careers in a globally diverse, complex, and interconnected world, and to provide College faculty with a research and teaching environment that values international collaboration.

The College does this by working with its academic departments and with the Office of the Vice President for International Affairs and by providing an array of internationally-oriented opportunities for faculty and students.

These opportunities are based on well-structured partnerships with select institutions, schools, or departments in a diverse set of countries around the world; offer high impact study abroad experiences that fulfill the College’s liberal arts tradition for our majors and other IU students; and enable students to participate in high-value activities on the Bloomington campus that help them expand their understanding of world affairs, languages, and cultures.
