As one of the oldest universities in the world, Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) in Seoul stands still as a well-respected university in Korea. About 30% of its courses are taught in English. Students in a wide variety of disciplines can spend a semester or academic year studying at SKKU at either the Humanities and Social Sciences campus in Seoul or the Natural Sciences campus in Suwon. SKKU's International Office runs courses particularly designed for exchange students that offer perspectives and insights into Korean and Asian culture.

Course load: Students should enroll in the equivalent of 15 IU credits. Any plan to enroll in less must be approved by Pete Giordano, the advisor for ASPIRE Exchange Programs.

Grades + Transcripts: SKKU will provide a transcript at the end of the exchange. At the student’s request, IU departments will review courses to determine how they will apply to your degree. Please note that IU does not accept Pass/Fail.
